Who can present wine?
- wine producers and winemakers
- groups of co-operative wineries
- importers
- wine merchants
Which wines can compete?
It is open to wines from all over the world that have a specific geographical denomination.
Which wines are allowed to compete?
All vintages are allowed in the competition.
How many products can be presented?
You are not limited in the number of products you can present. Wine merchants must have a mandate for the presentation of wines they do not own.
What should be written on the package for customs?
For an easy and reliable way to send your tasting samples, we recommend using Hillebrand Gori’s eShipping service, which manages the consolidated transport of small volumes.
Producers can book online and benefit from coordinated documentation, labelling support, collection and cross-border movement of samples.
If you prefer to arrange transport independently, please ensure that the service you choose offers international delivery with full customs documentation to avoid delays.
Shipping by local post may delay delivery for several weeks due to the complexity of the customs procedure.
Each delivery must come with a detailed business invoice with the following information:
- General data: your company name and address
- The recipient's contact details: Armonia Group UK LTD -Unit 2.9, 159-163 Marlborough Rd, London N19 4NF
- The recipient's EORI number: GB471654185000
- The name of each product
- The unit weight of each product and total weight
- The unit value of each product -> the customs value is 0.50 GBP
- The total value -> the total value of the shipment is less than 20.00 GBP / 20.00 EUR ($20)
- Mention "Samples for Tasting" – No commercial value and put a label ON the box
- The country of origin
- Add the enclosed commercial invoice signed by a representative of the producer ON the box and INSIDE the box
In addition, depending on the product, specific information is required on the commercial invoice:
Wine, beer, spirits: Alcohol content and exact quantities (e.g.: 2 bottles of 0.75L)
Beer: Degree Plato
Without these indications, the import cannot take place.

All products entering the United Kingdom are subject to customs duties. These duties are included in the cost of the Consolidated Shipment service offered by the competition.
UK tax and customs authorities require proof of duty and VAT payment on alcoholic products, under the 1979 Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act and the Customs & Excise Management Act. Non-payment is an offence. For more information, contact the HMRC National Advice Service at +44 (0) 845 0109 000.
How many samples need to be sent?
Wines: 2 labelled bottles per wine must be sent to the address indicated on the form. Please always send your bottles upright, never lying down, as this significantly reduces the risk of glass breakage. You are welcome to send your registered wines before uploading the analyses.The wines must have a label and a cap.

When you register your products, you will receive an e-mail from us with a dispatch note containing all the important information about the delivery time and address.

From £59.5 + VAT for the shipment of 2 products (4 bottles).

What are the categories?
Can a beer be presented in more than one category?
Yes. A beer can be presented in more than one category, with more than one style.
How many samples need to be sent?
Beers: 2 labelled bottles, per product presented
