The Concours des Chardonnay et Pinot Noir and the Concours International des Cabernets tastings will take place in London on 15 April 2025 as part of the London Tasting Awards. This international event will bring together experts and professionals at blind tasting sessions to ensure high-level evaluations.

The best Cabernets in the world

Cabernet is the most widely grown grape variety in the world. It is actually better to talk about cabernets in the plural, because there are many different types. The most well-known are the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, but there are others including the Cabernet Dorio, Cabernet Moravia, etc. There is even a Cabernet Blanc (see the cabernets page).

How can one keep from getting lost in the midst of all these wines made from the same grape variety but in such different terroirs? Besides, each winemaker ‘puts his hand in’ and gives his wine a special touch.

The objective of the Concours International des Cabernets is to compare these wines and award the best cabernets in the world.

The Concours des Chardonnay et Pinot Noir has invited prestigious representatives of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties in Europe and the world.This tasting provides an opportunity for producers to put their wines--an expression of their know-how and the grape varieties used--in tasting with other well-known vintages. It really shines a spotlight on the various expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay across the world, revealing all the qualities and value of the wines.
